At 19, I earned my Diploma of Business in Real Estate Management with a clear intention - not just to work in real estate, but to one day lead my own agency. I started from the bottom. No shortcuts, no handouts, just a folder of listings, a phone, and a whole lot of cold calls, letterbox drops, and open homes. I was that guy knocking on doors when no one else wanted to. It taught me grit. It taught me patience. And most of all, it taught me that behind every property is a person with a story, and that’s what really matters.

Since then, I’ve taken the long way ‘round. I left real estate to explore the world of IT, corporate roles, and eventually entrepreneurship... running my own hospitality business, navigating commercial leases, managing staff, marketing, growth, the lot. I’ve lived every side of the equation: as a tenant, a landlord, a business owner, and a licensed real estate agent negotiating the deal from the other side of the table.

What I learned from all of it? Success in real estate (and life) comes down to relationships, not scripts. I’ve never done formal sales training. I don’t believe in robotic tactics or flashy gimmicks. I believe in understanding the person in front of me, listening to their story, and aligning values to help them achieve their goals. People don’t want to be sold to... they want to be heard, respected, and guided.

Coming back to real estate wasn’t just a career move... it was a calling. I saw an opportunity to do things differently. On my terms. With integrity, care, and a long game mindset.
